While I was on my trip, one of our dogs, Moos passed away. He was paralyzed in his hind legs and had to be put asleep. He was almost 16 years old. And our other dog Jacky hasn't been feeling well for quite some time, heart problems and such and stopped eating the last couple of days. All he did was sleeping and being in pain so he had to be put asleep today..:(
Even though they became quite old, I'm still so very upset. They were my childhood friends and I'm going to miss them so much..:( My other dog is also very upset now, he's been very quiet and doesn't wag his tail...He was also very sweet when Jacky passed away, licking his eyes and nose, as a goodbye.

I lost my childhood friend of 16 years two months ago. He couldn't get up anymore, had started having strokes, wouldn't eat or drink and had labored breathing so we put him to sleep.... Initially it's really hard, but eventually the pain of their absence subsides and you can be assured they're no longer in pain, but happy and playing together. It's not much, but you have my condolences and should you want to talk I'd be happy to listen as someone who went through a similar experience recently that can relate.
Oh my dear..what a terrible way to end such a wonderful trip. I'm so sorry you had to come homw to so much sad news >:...and what a terrible thing to lose so many loved ones at once. Give your remaining doggy many hugs from me. Sending you warm thoughts and the reminder of all the good memories you all shared together. I hope you find solace in those bright memories and in doing so carry on the memory of their being <3.
