That's what set this off. Because my muse can't stop giggling at the concept of swarms of white mice in black warpaint roving the wastelands in search of things to capture, conquer and nibble.

Yeah, I liked "Fury Road", partially because it was a 2-hour car-chase/explosion, partially because it didn't spoon-feed me backgrounds and partially because there is way *way* more history and background in the story than is at first obvious.
