Here's a more flashy song we sing a lot for competition pow wows. This is originally a song by a group named Blackstone. The song is in the Cree language and it's flashy nature is often used for competition pow wows to impress the judges; of course it also serves the purpose of singing for the people which is what pow wow singing is all about. This is also one of the clearer recordings I've been able to make of pow wow songs. I'm still getting the hang of it but the balance of the voices was nice, with the women's voices coming out nicely for a change. Also please excuse the air noise.
