Thank you very much for visiting.
This is part of my graphical work for the Theta Cards project. Using a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Tile Studio, I am designing the templates for the five card types featured in the game. This particular design is the character card type, recycling Varia from "Hello, Kitty!" to operate as the first card of the collection.
This project has been through much planning and there are probably still some aspects to figure out. I speculate that the first version, should there be a first or second, will merely be a Windows game written in Visual Basic. My experience with games such as Travian has inspired me that the game should ultimately operate as a browser-based community game. The game's purpose is to not only provide a calm distraction or hobby, but to also exhibit the artwork of others.
I decided against using an Microsoft Access form to link directly to the data for generating the card images and have instead opted to use an Illustrator drawing to place over the raster image. Hopefully, I need not change anything more with this card design.
I'll be continuing with the next card design. Again, thanks for visiting.
