She's a medic, but has a purple lightsaber o.o?

You have to remember, this is planned to be set after Jedi, where the Jedi order is all but destroyed. Rebuilding from the ground up, it's rather impossible to stick to the old conventions, as they must pull together what they can. As such, their lightsabers are simply that. :)

Also, I don't really know much about the expanded universe so maybe that's 'wrong' but it sounds like a good canon explanation for me. :)

Well technically it's just the continuity of Star Wars; the lightsaber colours are determined by the types of Jedi or Sith. Purple is the colour of Balance, used by someone who practices the arts of both sides. I'm not saying it doesn't look good in her hands or anything but I guess I'm literal XD

Possibly. Just a thought; my Twi'lek character is a healer too, she uses a Gold Lightsaber; colour of devotion to the Light Side.

i volunteer;) a wolf with black furr in a black trench coat glass and hat with bat like wings jest may fit the bill ;) besids that a horse wood look hot as a sith lord. people allwase waaa waa dark side this and that. jest cose you are of the dark dont mean your evil. It just means you have last holding you back,besids you ever really listened to that description of the force?it surrounds you it penetrates you. that jest sounds all kinds of wrong when you actually listen to what it sounds like. i have most of the Star Wars mane cgi modles.sad part is the Darth Vader did not come with a cape and ive bin mount's trying to find a cgi cape for it do too it's for a modle no 1 has used in like 10 years

Oddly enough, Ellen always seems to help me break stories. Her canon universe, Sunset's Edge, she became a major plot thrust for the second arc. I can't wait to get there, it's one of those moments I hope hits the audience the right way. :)

In this case, when writing the description it gave me a way to combine all five Jedi characters made so far into a single narrative. :)

I always enjoyed playing the dark side in the KOTOR games, but I like torturing digital people because I can. :) I'd never do any of that in real life, but in games I can be bad. :)

In the tabletop, I used to play a downtrodden Jedi... sort of the Jedi equivalent to Pale Rider. Took us three months of gaming before she finally broke out her light saber. Until then, half the group didn't even know what she actually was XD

everybody overlooks with all the bad things darth vader did it started out as he wated to help make a unified governmental leadership and rember the Jedi order is quite restrictive in some regards thay feal any number of emotions should not be had . Nor should one have physical attachments or relationships or love or have kids as a few examples. Nobody ever seems to think jest because somebody is the more powerful side of the forse it is still part of the whole. add to that we still have choices,. It's how we act on those choices that determines how we are seen as evil or good. I've often been kind of surprised you never see a character in the Star Wars universe who is part of what they referred to as the dark side yet he or she doesn't go as far as acting in a evil manner .thay may be heavy-handed in how they deal with things but still not say going around committing acts of genocide. Vader for whatever reason the character really quickly had some sort of psychotic break ive not seen most of the third movie i am assuming from what I've heard of story wean he kills the yang kids + hes little incident with the volcano . It destroyed a significant portion of his civilized mind. Before he pout on the sout he seemed to be a very different individual. So I'm guessing the character had a pretty bad mental incident. It just seems whenever somebody creates a character that is supposed to be part of the Sith order. They never take into consideration somebody doesn't necessarily have to be evil in nature just to be a member of the Sith order, or at least be considered a member given they use the stronger side of the force. Most people don't want to actually admit if you look at return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker was way out of his depth. If Darth Vader had made a conscious decision to intervene. The story would've had a very different ending. Having power doesn't make an individual good or evil. It is how they use or choose to use that power that makes the distinction.

I say that gray area. could be sith for some of the things he/she does, running off anger, force lightining and what not, but still try to pursue the greater good for the universe even if using more dark methods to do such things.

This is true, but evil it may look and most would most likely denounce me as a sith so look at it how you will.

I don't, actually. I've played both KOTOR games, seen the movies, read a couple of books, but that's all.

I dislike the prequels and don't really watch the cartoons because I dislike the wooden animation style. Otherwise, I'm a casual star wars fan, but largely due to George Lucas's missteps.

same here, the prequels kinda ruined things for me since they look so fake with all the CGI. I'm still shocked they CGI'd the clone troopers. Though with force awakens coming out and weeing the trailers I can't wait to see it. I just hope they let the new cast shine a bit over the old.

As for the Starwars RPG it's a lot of fun, and it's very table top newb friendly. You just need it's special dice.

I'm annoyed at that too. Lucas seriously overused CGI. He used it in every single scene, and that's just too much. He abused it, in fact. It's funny, he in an old interview says what I always say, the story must be strong enough so that the CGI enhances storytelling, not replaces it', and then the video says "Wait a minute, you said that????"

I'm hoping the old cast is just there for a cameo or so, not to try to interfere with the new story, which I still don't have a clue what it is. I also wonder why they're releasing it at Christmas.

Likewise, I think the only member of the old cast that should come back is Luke since Jedi Master and all, but Han, Leia, and everyone else should be in the supporting cast. But still. In J.J. I trust.

Now if you excuse me I need to get some pizza roles. Just don't go into my creepy basement till I get back.
