I visited Old Car City on my way to MCFC in 2015. They claim to be the world's biggest oldest junkyard and I believe it. They say it is six miles if you walk up and down each aisle. I was there 5 hours and I only saw 1/3 of it.
But it is not really a junkyard anymore.... it is a MUSEUM. They dont sell parts. You pay $25 and you look at the old cars. I like exploring junk yards more than car shows. You get to see the cars as they were left 10-20-30-40 years ago.
I have uploaded 334 pix of old rusty cars for your enjoyment.

This place is 1 hour north of Atlanta.I hope to visit there if I go to FWA in 2016.

Let's see. . .
A couple like the car my grandfather drove for about 50 years.
A station wagon like my parents had when I was a kid. (It too had rusted out floorboards like the picture here)
On the one hand it's like a graveyard for veterans and celebrities and you can feel a quite sense of wonder. On the other hand it's like a nursing home where all the nurses have quit and you have to feel sorry for those poor residents who did so much in their younger years.
Seems like an awesome place to visit, maybe pack a picnic lunch and make an entire day of it.
