Rodent was overjoyed to get a job at the new Jurassic World park, even if it was cleaning out the enclosures. Although the T-Rex in one such enclosure was only a baby, Rodent should have known better than to turn his back on this one, who decided not to wait for the keepers to bring around today's dinner.
Not yet experienced with tearing apart a meal before swallowing, nor accustomed to having such a large meal, the baby T-Rex struggled his way through it all, until finally managing to swallow down his catch. Despite his fate becoming nothing more than food for the T-Rex, Rodent spent his final moments feeling proud of the small fella, at taking his first steps toward becoming a great predator.
My thanks to BadCat for taking this commission and doing such a fantastic job with it.

I couldn't help myself. I just had to accept that offer to babysit your niece.

Not knowing what your niece might look like, I had the artist to a younger version of Tabatha, based off of this version from several years ago, but with different hair to make that separation. :)

(i'm putting this on the artists page as well)
The grey furred feline femme arrived home, tossing her purse onto a table as she shut the front door. "Did you get along with Sally, Rodent?" Tabatha called out to her friend. "Rodent?"
Hearing no answer, she went out to the yard. "Sally!" she cried out at the sight of her little niece with a plump squirming belly, a limp pink rat's tail still in her grey furred jaws and a pair of rat’s pathetically twitching rat feed sliding down her maw.
"Oh, Sally!" Tabatha called, running forward and sweeping her niece into her arms. "I'm soooooooooo proud of you!" she cooed, hugging her and purring. Oh, she could feel the last twitches of the rat in her niece's belly! Let me clean you up!" she purred, lapping up the tasty rat blood in her niece's grey fur. The kitten giggled and purred at the attention, and gulped down the tasty rat tail. "You're going to be a wonderful huntress some day!" Tabatha cooed, “Just like your auntie!"
Funny, she thought to herself, she’d always imagined she would end up eating Rodent herself. But growing kittens needed easy prey to get started on, and the sweet gentle trusting gullible rat had been perfect for the task!
