Commission for Windrunner, depicting his lovely lady Biakko in her rightful place as Dungeon Master! This piece was really texture rich, the full file has a lot to it. I had a ton of fun with this theme, since my boyfriend and I love tabletop too! I think my favorite part to paint was the gold edging on the throne, that was just so much fun. But doing the fur detail on her cloak was a blast too.

That fur cape tired out fantastic. And the gold on the chair look like gold. I love how the materials you paint carry the same visual characteristics as the real materials. I so easily get caught up in my idea that I forget to think about the look and feel of the objects im drawing and painting. :) excellent work
Wow, that is a LOT of work! All those different textures *_* Love the gold of the throne and the dragon statue especially!
Now, if I had one criticism, it would be that the bear fur she's wearing looks almost too realistic in comparison to the rest? Idk it might just be me but it throws me off a bit.
Also, although the dice do have shadows, I think, they still don't look like they're actually lying on top of the book?
I'm being nitpicky here, don't take it as me not liking this!
I love her fierce expression and the arms and hands are superb! (as always) This looks more like 50 hours than 23!

Hm, you are right! I was easier to make the darker fur look more realistic, wonder how I can balance that in the future. And great point on the dice, I think they need some different shadows, or maybe some of them are at odd angles to begin with? Anyway, thanks for the input, it helps a lot! <3
