Some info (WiP):
Their frills, wings, and flowers can all be different shapes and sizes. Their frills and wings can look more like wings, spikes, or whatever your imagination wants them to be. Their flowers can be any type of flower, even made up ones. Have fun!
Their fishing orbs don't have to be orbs. They can be as straight as sticks, or as short or long as you want. Go wild with them if you feel like it. Do whatever your imagination tells you to do.
They can have more or less things growing on them than the general growth locations.

They are an aquatic race, but they can adapt to any element. If you want them to be made out of lava, go for it. Niimahs that have adapted to different environments go by different names.
Water: Niimahs
Air: Niimohs
Earth: Niimuhs
Fire: Niimehs
Snow/Ice: Niimihs
Light: Niimyhs
Dark: Niimhys
Mana or no element: Niihmas.
A hybrid of any element: Nihims.

Their diet consists of small animals, and berries. They use their glowing orbs for fishing or for attracting smaller animals. The more they adapt to the modern world, the more they lose their fishing orbs.
They often sleep in flower fields or bushes. They curl into a small egg shape and wrap their frills to look like a flower in hopes of blending in with the flower field/bush.
