Tries, anyhow.

Wow... this information goes contrary to some of what we heard last chapter.
Also, something tells me that Fairbrook and Meier's history began WAY before the vul became a man wealthy enough to keep tabs on. Probably dates back to Meier's first infection back during an ill fated Hawaiian vacation. I could see it now: rich British couple take their young child on a vacation with them to Hawaii. They leave him at the hotel while they do deep sea diving on the coral reef or something... and then BAM! Everyone back on the island is transformed into a furry. Kid gets rejected by his parents, probably seen some people die right in front of him due to the lethality of one of the three transformations, and then gets left in the care of poor social worker Fairbrooks.
Oh, and if Meier isn't cleared to built "goddamn superweapons"... what does that mean for Simon? I mean, the kid basically IS one of Meier's illegal superweapons. If he has nanotech built into his body (and it can be nanotech even if it doesn't have nanites) then removing it will be a real [censored]. And Leon of course is a smart kid, so he's probably figured this all out already.

You maaaaay just find some of my twitter posts interesting: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CIsf9O6UkAAq5c2.jpg

talenshi is illustrating a Meier-centric tie in chapter that I've written.
Also: is there a continuity error? I try my best to nip those when they pop up.

Actually, on this page http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11659215/ Fairbrooks says that Meier must have broken into his son's sword collection, yet on this page Meier says the sword collection belongs to him.
Not a continuity error, really. Just Meier stretching the truth alongside reader expectations.

Back on train ride down here, Meier listed military tech to be among the list of things that Dyson worked on. While military tech doesn't necessitate weapons, it is high on the list of expectations just when one drops the word military.

They have a bunch of restricted rights based on the fact that they're considered an EXTREMELY alien species despite being American citizens. A mix of fear, confusion and, in some cases, racism has led to vast restrictions on Vul freedoms. As the comic goes what those laws entail and why they're in place will be expanded upon.
Panel 3 is fucking glorious. Not to suck you off, but how the hell do you get off making stuff this good while you're fighting off a terrible disease? Like, what the fuck man? Are you actually a Vul and this is just a roundabout way of telling us?
Seriously though, I can feel this story picking up speed. We're not meandering around anymore, and I suspect that we won't be for a while at least.
Poor Fairbanks. You're actually a cool dude, but it seems that may well be your undoing in the end.
