"This house is a very important place Little Fox" said Hollyfox as she showed Little Fox the McLean house at Appomattox Court House in Virginia.
"What happened here?" Asked Little Fox wide eyed and curious.
"A long time ago there was a big war in the US" said Hollyfox "and after four long years of fighting and loosing many men both armies were tired of fighting. Here on the second story to the left is where the two sides came to meet to end the war."
"So, they made up with each other?" Asked Little Fox
"Yes, they wrote out their terms on a series of agreements so they both could go home and wouldn't have to fight each other agian" explained Hollyfox
"That is a good thing! I don't like fights" said Little Fox as he stuck his nose in the front door to explore the House.
"Neither do I, Little Fox, neither do I" said Hollyfox as the both explored the great rooms of the old McLean House.
