The princess leans back and opens her mouth as the servant girl drops another small critter inside. At the moment, she’s content to slurp down the little mice and squirrels, enjoying the feeling as each one wiggles its way down her throat. But though she’s eaten enough to give her belly a nice dome shape, she still feels somehow unsatisfied. She craves something more… filling.
She opens her eyes a bit and looks over the servant girl. What would she taste like? Would she squirm? She would certainly be filling.
Something in princess’ gaze must be unsettling, because the servant girl shudders. She pulls another morsel out of her basket and holds it over the princess’ head, who opens her mouth wide and allows it to be dropped inside. She swallows, sending a little bulge down her neck and into her belly.
She would finish the rest of the little creatures first and see if she was still hungry. If not, then she wouldn’t have to worry about finding a new servant. And if she was, then the servant girl would have the honor of feeding her mistress more directly.

Not one of my favorite pieces of old art, but I thought I'd share anyway. There's something about the uncertainty here that I like.
