Football Cubs episode 1 - Pre-Season!
There are still a couple of teams with no cub to represent them (see this picture here for details: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17186814/ ), but here's our first cub-themed football adventure!
There's always one cub who insists on sneaking out of the nap room to play before it's time to get up! And another cub who comes along and joins him... ^.^
Football primer: The season officially starts on August 8th, but some things have started already in the football world. There are two European competitions that run alongside the English Premier League season - the Champions League for the best teams in Europe, and the Europa League for the not-quite-good-enough-for-the-Champions-League teams. These competitions have qualifying rounds in July and August to weed out the teams from tiny countries, before the clubs from big places like England join the fun. The exception is the team who qualified because of their 'fair play' record, West Ham, who have to start from the first qualifying round. So they've already played two games against a team from Andorra, followed by two games against a team from Malta, before the other 19 teams in the Premier League have played a single competitive game!
