And now we come to the last of the "main six" of Achievement Hunter. Though he has gone on to bigger(?) and better(?) things, he will always be remembered as that sly-between-the-lines commenter that takes a conversation to a hilarious or bizarre turn.
Ray Narvaez, Jr. left achievement hunter as Tuxedo Steve in Minecraft's 151st episode. A touching scene of....random conversation and downplaying of his admiration for his fellow employees (instead mourning the loss of a cream soda machine)...that ultimately led to Ray saying his goodbyes and heading down the long "tunnel of mystery" before, after a long moment of silence, the message "Brownman has left the game" appeared for the final time....
....leading to another moment of silence, which gave everyone else the time to don hardhats and pickaxes to tear down Ray's dirt house to sell it around for profit.
Ray's best known for self-depreciation, memorable references (who can't forget the M. Bison eh?), and twisting conversations to a weird turnout. Sometimes you feel sorry for Ray, but other times you just love the sly wit that comes with it.
It also helps that Ray's considered the best gamer in the office. While I personally don't care about gamerscore or achievements, Ray's got his huge share. Enough so that he practically panicked in an early episode of GO! where he realized he "HAS ACHIEVEMENTS IN EVERYTHING!"
Probably helps that he's also the only sober AH, being a non-drinker of booze. Yay sobriety!
Anyway. Ray has left AH to pursue streaming full time, but will always be remembered and have a place at AH if things go south. That is, one he makes a few vids, submit them, have an interview, and go through all that process AGAIN like everyone else. .......fair is fair?
Ray's form was difficult at first, but ehhh...went with a fox or...maybe a wolf. I dunno, mix? Use your imagination. They're popular for whatever reason (see Zootopia yet?), and their slyness fits with Ray's commenting style.
Of course, can not forget the tux and the weird facination with roses that comes from an appreciation of anime character, Tuxedo Mask. Of course, it's not like Ray hasn't created his own weird characters, from Moto-Cop, to Mr. Diddles, to his own imagining of his sombrero-wearing dad, PapaBrownman.
