As you might know, in an alternate fanboy storyline 
kumbartha and my humble save made up, Weekly of the Blacksad furiverse became incredibly muscular and strong thnaks to a freshly invented sport named 'bodybuilding'... seems that does affect on John, too. But he seems a bit unsure about his emotions, so he surprisingly shly asks his buddy if he might have a feel... and Weekly himself seems to feel John's uneasiness.
Naturally, Weekly and John Blacksad belong to the godly Guarnido!
