This my character for the game Pathfinder. (Dungeons & Dragons Variant)
When we play Pathfinder, Iosw is the party's sniper. Iosw is fast, agile, and tough. She usually likes to stick to the shadows and pick people off from afar, but on occasion will get up close and personal. Her armor was redesigned to be lighter and less cumbersome while still retaining its strength. Standing at 6'10" she is an intimidating figure, but has a soft spot for friends and family.
Her weapon of choice is a custom 20mm Anti-Material rifle designed by herself. The overall design was based off of a L39 Lahti, but it is bolt action instead of semi automatic. The rifle is powerful dealing 3d12s+12, but there is a price. Each shot does 1d4 of damage to her and will blow her backward if she fires it while standing straight up. It's not shown in the portrait, but Iosw carries a 2 foot long blade that can be used as both a knife and a bayonet.
Iosw's skills are highly focused in detection, stealth, and movement. Her official class is Gunslinger, but a few levels of Rogue are thrown into the mix making a balanced multiclass character.
There is a back story, but it's still in the making. Most of it is written from the adventures that our parties go on, but many characters that make her who she is can be found in my novels "The Brutal General" and "The Raven"

Very Interesting Sergal armour!
noticeable to see Multi role character.
bolt action 20mm L39 is good choice.
should I suggest this 20mm rifle? It apparently single-shot recoil-less

but I do not want to insult on your character choice.

Thank you.
I like the thought, but why spend the move action to reload for the next shot. With this design I can shoot a few times and then get out of there before my location is discovered.
In some situations there is a tactical advantage to having a lot of recoil.
For example I had to jump a large crevice after the bridge collapsed. We were in a cave with hostiles chasing us. Naturally Sergals in Pathfinder get a +2 to all jump checks, all jumps are treated as a running start, and I can take 10 even when threatened. With a ceiling my jumping abilities are limited. So I got a running start jumped forward, turned in air, fired a round and killed an enemy while the recoil carried me across. Then as luck had it, I had a soft landing on the other side. Using some fancy acrobatics, I turned around and landed feet first on my friend's character's face. It was quite funny for my character didn't like his all so much.
He also was the one who accidentally broke the bridge. It collapsed under his weight on the other side. I'm pretty sure it would have fell apart the moment I stepped on it, but sometimes it good to have that interaction with other players.
