This is a SURPRISE Patreon reward/makeup for my recent absence, for cricetorocker ! This is Gerah, an Asian dragon that represents peace and balance. So of course... this was the go-to pose for peace and balance in my mind!
This was again another experiment with color and painting techniques. I was going for a warm golden light coming from the right, and a cooler bounce-lighting on the left. I could tell you all the things I DON'T like about this lighting I chose........ but I would rather hear what I could do to improve it!! Critiques very much welcome here :)
I very much enjoyed painting this, it was the highlight of my day for over a week now! I'm fairly happy with it, always room for improvement you know!
Anyway, a huge shout out to cricetorocker for being a wonderful friend as well as supporting me through Patreon!! Thank you so much for everything you do <3
