I really like how you went beyond the initial discovery and birth. It added a whole different layer to the story.

I started with the discovery and the end wrote itself soon after and the middle section seemed to fit in well

This was a really sweet and touching story. I like the idea and the execution was pretty, especially the middle part with the grown-up sons leaving home, that was particularly touching. The ending could use a little revision. For one thing the passage of time is a little abrupt and not immediately obvious.

I would like to put this on the short list for use in the podcast. I have stories lined up through March, but I think I could use it after that.
