Gremlins are one of the most prominent races with steam technology in Set'al. They love creating crazy machines more than anything, and can't help but dissasemble things that interest them to figure out how they work
They're abnormally strong for their size, and wield tools that are almost as tall as they are to make their metal monstrosities.
Their curious nature can sometimes weigh on other races as annoying, but they usually mean it in good fun if they're doing it on purpose ;3

This is great, Min, I'll confess to holding a flame for steam technology and the like so it's neat to see something like this. But this is way cooler than a goblin. :P Actually, the big wrench puts me in the mind of some sort of miniature Ratchet, because they do kind of remind me of a Lombax, minus the tail.
This has a lot of nice details too, like the scruffy hair and the toothy grin. The big ears look very cute, and is that a multi-level eye-piece strapped across his forehead? That's awesome.
Again, I think your character concepts have a lot of different possibilities and I'm really interested in seeing what you come up with. ^^

Very accurate description of how Gremlins were portrayed right from the beginning. the stories of them started with aircrafts, people claiming that these creatures would sneak into the craft and mess around with wires and such.
Goblins have NOTHING on Gremlins when in comes to machinery (atleast according to folk tales).
