YCH BEACH BONFIRE GROUP COMMISSION - DETAILS, RULES and FULL TERMS
BASICS
This is a large group YCH (Your Character Here) commission project by oCe (me), set to feature 60+ characters in a twilight beach bonfire setting. Artwork will be drawn and painted 100% digitally, in full color, high in detail and at a large resolution (around 2500x4000, maybe larger!)

I put a LOT of time and effort into creating each of these pieces (100+ hours spent on the Rave alone), and I really hope it shows! :) This commission will be of similar final quality - the image in this submission is PRELIMINARY ONLY! I do my best to treat each character as if they were their own individual commission, as well as tying them all together into a single, cohesive whole.
CONTENT
-Anthro/furry characters of any species/gender/orientation are welcome!
-You must either OWN, or HAVE PERMISSION from the character's owner to commission art of their character(s). Buying slots as gifts for close friends is usually fine, though I do this on a case-by-case basis.
-No micro/macro/hyper (unrealistically large body parts)
-No fully-human characters
-No underage/child characters
-No commercially-owned characters (ie Disney, Pokemon) or fan-style characters (ie MLP, Sonic)
-Rating is limited to PG-13: smoking/drinking may be shown, and characters can be clothed or nude, but nudity will be non-graphic/non-sexual (ie extra fluff, "cartoon nudity")
-You may SUGGEST basic themes or details for your characters, like what they might be wearing, doing, drinking, carrying, etc. but I will have the FINAL say in all such decisions.
-The theme will lean towards casual, tribal/gypsy and surfer/beach styles; I am most likely to use suggestions that fit well in this theme!
-Please, no excessive weapons/armor/tech/magic/etc. - in other words, anything that would be too distracting or mismatched from the main theme.
POSES:
-Be aware that all poses shown in the initial sketches/studies are PRELIMINARY, NOT FINAL! Scale/placement and exact poses will almost always change slightly in the final version, to accomodate specific character details.
-You may SUGGEST a minor pose alteration, though again I will have the final say here.
-Body types can be altered, and any body type is allowed within a "realistic for a human" range (ie: fat, thin, muscular, etc.).
-LARGE WINGS and/or FERAL (non-anthro) characters will be allowed only in particular, marked slots. Smaller wings may be okay in most other slots, as long as they are small or can be drawn folded up.
-All-out fire shows are reserved for the fire slots only, but things like candles, lanterns & glowsticks are allowed, characters taking photos is allowed, smoking is allowed... though again, I reserve final say in all accessories and activities. If you're not sure about something, please ask!
PREVIEWS / REVISIONS:
-Email updates (with or without images) will be sent every 3 weeks until the project is complete.
-At least 2 previews will be provided by email, 1 each at the following stages: initial lineart (sketch), final lineart (ink). You may request minor revisions to your character(s) if I have missed any important details at either of these stages.
-Revisions to the final/color stages will be made only in case of character inaccuracies.
-PLEASE NOTE: I can only accept revision requests:
1) from the person who actually paid for the slot (if someone else paid for yours for you, please have them send me your revisions) and
2) that are received within 10 days of my email containing the preview image.
TURNAROUND / TIMEFRAME:
-*Please be aware that there is NO FIRM DEADLINE SET* due to the size and complexity of this project! Some things may take longer than expected, or other delays can happen! However, my current projected (not exact) finish date is sometime between December, 2015 and January, 2016. (I do NOT recommend buying slots as surprise Christmas gifts, as I cannot guarantee at this time that the final will be ready before Christmas.)
-APPROXIMATE timeframes (subject to change) for completion of each stage is:
-sketch, 1-2 months
-ink, 2-3 months
-painting, 3-5 months
-finished at 5-6 months
I should know by November if it will take any longer than projected (Dec/Jan); if so, I will update all participants by email at that time with more specific target date(s) for completion.
REFUND POLICY:
-If for some reason I am unable to work with a client/character, or otherwise must cancel (either individual slots, or the whole project), you will receive a FULL REFUND.
If you choose to cancel your slot(s):
-FULL REFUNDS will be given for cancellations that are made BEFORE a first-draft image ("sketch" stage) of the project has been sent out.
-HALF REFUNDS (50% of the total amount paid) will be given for cancellations made AFTER the first draft ("sketch") has been sent, but BEFORE the second draft ("linework") has been sent.
-NO REFUNDS will be given AFTER the second draft ("linework") has been completed and sent, at approx. 3 months.
REMOVAL POLICY:
-AFTER the refund period is over (final lineart sent) but BEFORE the image is finished, you may request that your character(s) be REMOVED from the image without refund.
-All removal requests will be FINAL! No character substitutions; I reserve the right to re-sell, reassign to someone else, or leave removed slots empty at my choosing.
-After the full image is COMPLETE (defined as: final color version sent, "web" version posted publicly online), I will NO LONGER be willing or able to remove ANY characters from the image.
COPYRIGHT / IMAGE USE:
-I retain full copyright to my artwork, which means I may make digital or print copies of all or part of this illustration for purposes of archive, promotion, publication or sale at my sole discretion.
-Everyone who pays for a slot, and/or whose character appears in the final image will be given access to download the full-size digital original in JPG, PNG or TIF format for personal use only. The full-size, un-watermarked "original" may NOT be reposted, published, sold, distributed or altered in ANY way without my prior written permission - again, it is provided for personal use ONLY!
-You may crop out the portions with your OWN characters for use as icons/avaters/etc. or for uploading to your online commission galleries.
-A reduced-size (usually 25%) "web" version, in JPG or PNG format and with copyright watermarks included, will be available online of the full finished piece after the artwork is completed; reposting the "web" version IS allowed freely, so long as your character(s) appear in the image, it is unedited, and you provide a link or credit to me in the description.
-I am not able to offer prints for sale at this time, but I may opt to do so in the future (sold seprately, NOT included in the auctions). You are also welcome to print out one copy yourself at home for personal use.

Yay, I'm excited, it's finally time to announce this!! :D [b]I am starting a NEW large group YCH (Your Character Here) commission project for 2015: the YCH Beach Bonfire Commission! The final piece, to be done around December 2015 or January 2016, will feature 60+ characters including fire spinners, kite flyers, cooks, a drum circle, slots for flying or feral creatures, and many more in a twilight beach bonfire setting. Artwork will be drawn and painted 100% digitally in high detail and at a large resolution (around 2500x4000, maybe larger), and delivered in several digital formats when finished.
Shown above are my PRELIMINARY drawings (rough linework and a color study) for this group project. More defined linework will be posted, and numbered slots put up for individual auction, beginning around the first week of August!
