i'm really super happy how this one came out. When I drew the sketch for it I was like, wow, this is so rad. I was so worried it would get messed up when I finished it digitally, so instead of doing it the usual way, I decided to mix things up and make it lineless. It took longer, of course, but I think it looks good.
There are some parts (Atsl's hands esp.) that could probably use some lines to make it more clear what exactly they look like, but I wanted to keep it in the spirit of the style and make no outlines at all (except the mouths I guess?).

This picture is also the debut of another Toxisaur (who has no name yet), and with him you can gleam a little more about how they work. He's actually quite unique in that he's got no spikes on his body anywhere. This is exceedingly rare for toxisaurs, and he gets picked on because of it. Atsl, being his guardian (lovingly referred to as his "big brother" though they share no relation) is always trying to protect him, though.
