So a few weeks ago I got the phone call I had been dreading. Someone had found my Paso Fino mare Xena at a stock yard.....dead with an apparent bullet wound to her upper shoulder in what I have been told was a "kill blow". No one knows why whoever did this, did it. All I know is that she is free of any pain and suffering.

Xena was my only and first horse rescue and while I was away for a family emergency, the lady I was boarding her with, decided to up and sell her without my permission. She states I abandoned my horse but my family and I know differently.
