April Wigglesworth and Lance Wildfyre had been on-again, off-again ever since the tan rabbit joined the Albany Alphas. It was no shock, then, that the two of them "hooked up" on occasion when they both were at parties, or feeling lonely.

It was, however, surprising that the little black bunny had missed her period. And then started feeling sick on a regular basis a couple weeks later. Sure, she hooked up with guys on occasion but she was always careful to use protection.

But as time went on, and she stared to show the signs of being pregnant, she thought back to the one party she woke up in Lance's bed. Both of them had been particularly drunk that night, especially with news that the rabbit might be facing a trade to a new team in the very near future...

And though she SAID it could have been one of half a dozen guys - deep down she knew better. That it'd taken getting stone-faced drunk to admit she didn't want to lose the rabbit who'd seemed to be in her life now nearly forever - and she had a nagging suspicion that the last night she stayed with him, both of them agreed to make a pact, body and soul.

It was a shame neither of them remembered that night, but it didn't matter now.

He was here, and even though she tried to push him away, he stood right by her, even when he didn't even know he was the father. She knew he was there to stay - and even if they were prone to fighting sometimes, the two little miracles in their arms were more than enough to remind her she wouldn't have it any other way.
