Sorry I didn't reply earlier but I've been fudgy and busy, but I did think to ask, what do you think of the piano parts, considering your expertise in that department.

I liked them, very threatening, what would also be effective is fast, hard hit notes at the lower end of the piano... like C Eb and Gb, repeat in quick succession, then the piano turns more percussion than tuned, and it's a sweet effect for threatening and evil stuff =)

About half way seemed a little reminicent of Desert/Jungle strike.

It's very good! Sort of "Here comes the next boss" music.

And it isn't one of those pushover bosses they use to scare you it's one of those bg ones that really SHOULD scare you.

Agreed. One of those really awkward bosses with high HP and high damage that you can only kill by taking your time. The test-of-endurance bosses, which is why this music would work well, since it lasts a long time, much like the fight would =)

Not bad. Not really my prefered style of music by any means but it I still liked it. The piano was cool. I think I would like it more if the drums sounded more like real drums (particularily the bass drum, i liked the double kick stuff you had going) and the bass line was more of a distorted guitar and or bass guitar, but that's just me.

Yeah there is a steady dance basskick thru-out the entre thing. I originaly made the double bass kick beats and snare and hi-hatt work with what are, to my knowledge, recordings of the actual thing.

So I do believe it is for all intents and purposes REAL, just not live, and maybe not in the propper depth or looseness I myself would like on a drum.

This song was in one part, pure undirected creation, and another part working towards where I started in music. "Horror-Trance". I love spooky dance music, and I wanted to work towards it again, thus the dance beat.

Nice percussion intro and overall dynamics. Has an aggressive, funky progression to it that just makes my paw move.

I also like how you use your cadence harmonics to increase the overall tension. And you used an interesting way to get out of the tension at 1:26. Bit of an abrupt end, but it suits the pieces style overall.
