I'm so happy with my anatomy lately.
I've been studying it really hard.
And I've been trying to make a more like me/older Gravey.
With aha, well..."more like me" anatomy. ;P
Still not there though. I'm bad at drawing really heavy gals.
But for comic and GraveY + Ryoku Lovin's She'll be looking more like this.
Background inspired by Xian Jaguar, I like the cut out/storybook look. :D

Your study of anatomy is really showing. ^_^ I'm working on anatomy myself. Mostly the male for now, cause its easier. >_<
The whole pic has wonderful sence of movement and "bubbleyness." I'd love to see this colored. ^_^
Oh and yeah, I love doing backdrops rather than the whole background too. It tends to focus more on the character as a whole and really makes the subject "POP." However, once you get good at BGs as a whole then its easier to make the whole thing "pop." ^_^ I suck a$$ at BGs so I stick to BDs (backdrops)
Anyway, wonderful as always!! ^_^ Keep it up!

Male anatomy really is easier I swear. Gosh! I have problems with legs and balance if anything, haha especially making her more chesty. Even with self refrence it's hard D:

Seriously, the pose and expression are priceless, and your lineart is remarkably clean and fluid. You've pulled off the clothing (that sounds dirty...) very realistically as well, especially the way it'd rise and fall with motion.
And you should be proud of your "anatomy", women who look like they haven't eaten a piece of toast in a month are the ones who look weird. You don't just look healthy, you're hot ;)
