For any of you who have seen Disney Pixar's Inside Out, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. For those of you who haven't seen it yet ... Why have you not?! You really should!
Anywho, meet the voices inside my head.
Name; Talon
Emotion; Joy
Species; Tiger with a serious resemblance to the Pokemon Raikou
Personality; Talon is upbeat, charismatic and always looking for ways to have fun. Highly playful and very mischievous; you don't want to be near him when he's in a plotting mood (which is almost all the time as Deamon can attest :P ). He's as playful as a kitten and the most likely to pounce on a stray tail or glomp some unsuspecting friend. He gets endless pleasure from climbing a tree and watching the rest of the world walk on by.
Name; Draco
Emotion; Fear
Species; Dragon (western)
Personality; Actually the first form I ever had (with different colourations), Draco is my fear. He's shy and not fond of meeting new people, even online, and he still has trouble letting go of that total fear of getting close to someone only to be disappointed. The real issue is accidentally pushing others to the point of abandoning him because of his constant worrying. That is probably his greatest fear. Waking up one day to find that the people he cares about have left without a word and no matter what he tries, he can't get a hold of them again. It's happened before, and he's convinced it will happen again.
Name; Fang
Emotion; Disgust
Species; Wolf
Personality; This is my original colouration and design for him and it has remained unchanged. Calling himself an ex-military boxer, Fang is an excellent judge of personality. He prefers quality over quantity and has no room for dishonest or fake people in his life. Spotting a lie from over a mile away, he is very quick to point out faults in the people around me and suggest methods of fixing them. Which doesn't always go over well as most people don't like being told that there is something wrong in the first place. Insanely nosy, he has a way of choosing the right words to get people to spill their guts without realizing they've been prodded to do so (again, I think Deamon can attest to this XD ). He is also insanely clever to the point of having planned out ten different possible scenarios to every situation before presenting what he thinks is the best outlook.
Name; Hammer
Emotion; Sadness
Species; Hammerhead Shark
Personality; Hammer isn't so much as Sadness anymore as Melancholy, which is the more pensive version of sadness. Admittedly, I do like feeling Melancholy and just slowing down in my busy schedule to think about something that makes me feel sad, but in a nice way. Hammer is a self-proclaimed Guardian of the Seas due to his very big heart. He has compassion for all he comes across and wants to make it his mission to lead those drowning in sadness to joy. He wants to show that he really does care what happens to you; whether you are a stranger or a close friend. If he spots someone sitting alone, he will swim over to them and talk to them until he is sure they feel well enough to move on from what is bothering them. He truly is a gentle giant with a heart many times bigger than his own body.
Name; Hark
Emotion; Anger
Species; Red-tailed Hawk
Personality; Also known as my biker hawk, this guy is more along the lines of Irritation rather than full on Anger. Bold, dashing, daring and brave don't even start to describe him. Speed is his best friend and when not speeding along on his bike, he can get very irritable. Strangely enough, he holds similar views as myself that there really is no need for us to swear ... maybe if there is something important ... but even then ... I rarely get angry as it is. I'm much more likely to be disappointed. Anywho, when Hark does get mad, it doesn't last for long, as grudges are not his strong suit. Passion and Fierce determination as well as Stubbornness are his specialties.
It took a while of pondering to realize how much the philosophies behind Inside Out fit with my personality. I originally had five forms when I first became a furry. I had no clue who I was and as I tried different forms, they all seemed to fit in their own way. I didn't realize I was subconsciously reaching out to each of my key emotions in a bid to find which one most suited who I wanted to be. For the longest time I settled on Talon the Tiger as he was my Joy. I loved the way he could be playful and happy and charismatic. He went on a journey of his own from being the happy green and yellow tiger he was when I was dating a certain black dragon to being the mature yellow Raikou-like one he is now.
But he didn't seem to be the real me. So I became an Armadillo Lizard and have happily been that for a while now. I believe my current 'Sona is my true compilation of each of my key Personalities all together as one. They can still be separate, and I can still consult with them in my head like I've always been able to, but I'm finally truly discovering who I am inside

Thanks ^^ I quite enjoyed writing and drawing this out.
Inside Out has helped a lot with my journey of self-discovery and finding out who I am. It's a journey which has been going on for the past several years. It started back when I first joined the Fandom and before I met Tank. Although Tank was a very big part of shaping who I've become, you, Xala, Koji, Kit and Deamon have helped me each in your own ways too :)
