...and I took along the Android tablet to try out it's panoramic photo option. A very simple interface that lets you shoot what you aim at. It insists on panning from one direction to another while it auto stitches. While I'm impressed that such a tiny dot can see as much as it does, there's most certainly a quality missing here that shows what a more expensive camera can do. Still, we all get the gist of what the environment looks like.
What I am impressed about is how well the stitching program did it's job. After all, the weather conditions were hurling winds at me and blowing everything about. If I were to even take a wild guess, they might have been a constant 10-16 MPH. There is a little bit of darker/lighter conflict going on. But, the whole picture seems to remain level and without any blurring. I mean, you would be hard pressed to tell that all the vegetation was dancing about from the strong wind. It all looks calm and serene, if a bit bent.

Ah, yes. Forgot that I had taken these photos on an outing. Crescent City sure has some natural beauty, about.
I've since run that little $30 tablet into the ground by trusting it's recommended shopping app too much. Thing now has a goodluck.vir inside and the replacement OS isn't registering with the update procedure. It's just too cheap to spend money on sending in to the repair shop and I never knew what else to do with it.
