It's very basic really, 3 easy steps:
1. (very important) make a mess
2. find something in the mess
2. define it better
3. (optional) clean up
3. done.
3. think of how to justify the picture...
Just pick a pressure-width fully opague brush, switch back and forth between black and white as you draw, and that's it.
