A series I did for my friend Luna.

Luna stood at the bus stop, idly fidgeting with her hands. A cool breeze blew down the street, ruffling her hair and antennae. She had been standing there for several minutes when someone else joined her at the stop.

Luna glanced up at the wolf that new towered over her. She glanced down at Luna, their eyes meeting for a moment before the moth averted her gaze.

“Good morning,” the wolf said.

“Morning.” Luna answered.

“It’s a nice day… not too hot, not too cold.”

“Yeah.”

“Not very happy this morning, are we?”

Luna shrugged, causing the fluff around her neck and chest to ruffle. “Things have been tough lately. Sometimes I wonder if I’m not equipped to deal with it all.”

“Yeah, I know what you mean. Of course, there are always alternatives.”

“Oh? Like what?”

“Well…” The wolf waited for a moment, then smiled down at the moth. “I could always eat you.”
