Older coyotes are rare, both in fandom and in RL. Nature has a way of weeding us out. Us coyotes do respect and honour our elder brothers. If you want to read a truly touching book about the tribulations of RL Coyotes, find J. F. Dobie's book The Voice of the Coyote or F. Leydet's The Coyote. Both I think teach more about human thinking than the Coyote can reveal of himself.

I don't know about you coyotes... I heard a marauding gang of wicked coyotes, or maybe one marauding coyote, or perhaps just the mere thought of a marauding coyote, treed a poor woman in New Jersey for 5 hours, who then had to be rescued by police. Seriously.
