This'll sound strange, but I'm not really conscious of my thoughts when I draw. I just started out painting a face and then went by instinct from there. The picture practically paints itself as long as my brain has the energy to concentrate.
I was feeling tired and down but hopeful when I drew this, and I guess it shows in the drawing XD
