So, in Dusk's younger days, he didn't have a lot to give, but was always trying to cheer his mother up. One day, he came across a flower that had fallen off of a traveling Snadger's cart. With no one to claim it, he happily took it home to his mother and presented to her the beautiful flower. The smile on her face was well worth the trudge through the snow, and for a moment, she seemed genuinely happy again.


My entry prompt for the Pouflon Group(on Deviantart), the subject being 'Youth'. Dusk in this picture is young, but is starting to get his colors, including his dark collar and star freckles. If you're having trouble seeing what's going on, he's currently standing on his tipey toes, offering the rose he found to his mother (or the viewer, if that's how you want to see it =3) I played around with perspective in this one, as well as blurring the background to accept that fact.

The song I picked was picked because it relates to his story and how he did try to be 'strong enough' for both him and his mother when she was feeling quite depressed. Likely something he told her at one point in time, or at least around the lines of.

In any case, there's one more picture of Dusk to come, but that one is a big one and going to possibly be really detailed ;;' my paws will be numb, I know that for sure.
