Maybe he just wants to feel the rain. We're in severe drought here so I can relate.
Nice nice modeling and the perspective is interesting, though I suspect it's not as dramatic as you hoped. More foreshortening maybe? The legs - and especially the feet - would be smaller than the head and shoulders.
