This lil lady is/was owned by my friend's farm Five Point Clydesdale. I never did get the filly's name as the handler was rather rude -.- And to be frankly honest, he didn't seem to have a whole lot of horse sense. He kept jerking on this lil lady's lead causing her to toss her head up which only earned her more yanks :/ My friend gave him crap though :D

I personally hate most in-hand showing of hitch horses just slightly less than I hate the driving and under saddle showing of hitch horses. Lol!
If anybody smacked my horses under the chin with a stick, they would rapidly find me smacking them under the chin with a much larger stick ;)
Clydes are great.

She reared twice when he yanked on that chain which is under her chin. Chains should only be used by those who have the experience and knowledge in using them, otherwise you can cause serious damage (broken chin bone and so forth).
I've shown Clydes, Shires, Arabians and QH's in-hand which I've very rarely had to use a chain. A light tap on the leg with a riding crop is usually enough to get their attention. Some owners feel that they need to jerk, yank, and bully younger horses when this isn't the case at all.
I've shown Arab colts, roughly a 1yr old (yearling) with no chain, and just a light tap with a riding crop and then soft speaking to them.
But yeah this guy had no clue what he was doing x.x
