So I decided to dig up an old character I had drawn a year or two ago, and this is about as far as I got in the sketching and coloring :P
The more I sketched him the more I started to think up little tidbits and facts about him. For example, I decided to name him Ysbryd, which is welsh for spirit, mainly because it sounded cool, but also because it fit him. He is an ethereal being whose hobby is to strealing souls of the corrupt. The little tally marks on his neck were self inflicted cuts from the little blade hanging on his antler. He carves one talley for every soul he steals, when his neck is covered in talleys he skins his neck and grows a fresh layer of skin to restart the process. the little critter on the jars on his back (he keeps the souls in jars) is a small mantis that distracts some of his victims so he can sneak up if they’re too hazardous to approach. a few other things I thought up was his voice sounds like little children whispering, and the rings on his tail are there from the one time he was captured, so he has to move slowly or risk being caught again.
