Wasn't particularly sad when drawing this, but I was listening to the song Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore. I was planning on going a lot further with this, adding a background lah-dee-dah. This is a character I don't draw nearly enough, I still haven't even completely decided on a name. I think I had decided on Michael Finnigan, but I don't think he seems like much of a Michael. I love him to death but I don't get a chance to draw him much 8c


Anyway, story behind this, He's on a ship away from Ireland on his way to America and during the extended journey he becomes homesick. So yeah.
