The mod allows you to tame a minecraft bat with a pumpkin pie (also the means of healing it). It will then accompany you, can be held in hand for nightvision, released and retrieved with a batwhistle (provided free with each pet bat), and will fight with you. As it fights, it gains experiance points, leading to more damage as it levels up.

You can also examine your bat when held, where some stats are displayed. At the bottom of this examination is a tag line describing your pet bat's power. The first is "Completely Adorable and only slightly weaponized" (hence the name of this submission.) I hope to draw the bat at each stage of its evolution, but time has been a bit of a crunch lately.
