when Mara joined UN. Spacy she was orignally planned to use a special destroid of her own working. though in a heated battle the vehicle was smashed beyond use and nearly taking her with it. afterwards she was Transfered to a special devision for the development of new and more powerful weapons to combat the alien threat. while going through the old databanks she found the design specs of the stampede. Almost falling in love with it on the stop like a high school crush she proposed the idea to take the design and give it a more modern upgrade and the project was given a Go. a while later the New Stampede prototype was released and Mara became her pilot.
