After her grandmother passes, Skell explores her old childhood home with fresh eyes. She eventually discovers a small dusty nook at the back of the attic, full of special ingredients and all of her grandmothers treasured spells and tireless research. Skell digs in, soaking up generations of carefully collected knowledge.

Had a lot of fun with this! I'm trying to fit in more personal work, and I feel like I haven't completed a really fully rendered piece in a while, so it was interesting to apply all my new techniques. Played with Skell's design a little bit to make her more 'modern'. :3
edit: forgot to mention I'm attempting to try the 100 theme challenge (just for some inspiration, probably won't complete it) and this one is meant to be "introduction".
