What is worse is that some people actually are in a transition point and will fall to one side or the other. So it makes it seem like that theory has some ground. In reality though, bisexual is as much an orientation as gay or straight. Not just in "in between" thing. I wish we knew exactly what it was that created an persons orientation. Sadly we are far away from that (and that's not including outside experiences which shape a person), but it would be interesting to know.
I don't think people in a "transition" would be considered bisexual. Not legitimately anyways. Bisexual means you're attracted to both sexes. The people in "transition" are usually homosexual but claim to be bisexual to kinda...ease it on themselves and others. People who have yet to fall to one or the other and are a tossup are usually referred to as "bicurious".
Sadly. Lots of labels. Instead of just being with who mutually wants to be together.

The only reason I consider it a transition is that I definitely lived through it before falling to being completely gay. It can be like that for a number of reasons. The first, for me, was that I was always taught the beauty of the female figure was what I should pursue. And through (as bad as it sounds. I don't mean to male this a sob story. Sorry) almost brainwashing, I truly was attracted to women. But slowly I began to discover that I was attracted to male physique. And there was a period in there where I was equally attracted to both sexes. But now I would consider myself pretty much homosexual. I guess it just goes to labels and what not, but just throwing my two cents in. From personal experience, I did have a bisexual period for about 2 years (when you are only 21, two years seems a lot more substantial) of my life. And it could shift back depending on life experiences....
I hope that doesn't sound bad. I struggle to deal in absolutes regarding the future because I don't know what is in store. But I think in the end, people are people. And as long as they are loving other people rather than hurting them (unless you are into that...HAVE A SAFETY WORD!!!!), then I think its great

I don't comment nearly as much as I should but just know I really enjoy this comic and I know it's a labor of love. Every moment you take, every splash of color reaches more people than you can imagine. We apprieciate all the time and effort you put into a project like this. :)
Another great page. First of all, it's too cute how Scott's peering around Matthew to check if anyone from the soccer game is still there listening in before he says the word "Gay." Then Matthew's reaction to this is very bold and blunt "Yes, I am." His look towards Scott as he says it, seems to me like he's a little stern with Scotty. Matthew's thinking just in the way Scott said the word "gay" and his actions prior to saying it, he knows that Scott is maybe attracted to men as well and doesn't want to come out of his closet.
Matthew has a cool sense of humour as well, when he talks about his Gaydar and little details like how he speaks the last bit with his eyes closed is just so adorable! As well as, his posture when he sits, leaning forward, arms hanging between his legs. I totally love everything about Matthew! I want them to hug, kiss and be friends.
Then in the final panel, oh, I feel so sorry for the lonely deer. It's the first time he looks totally away from Scott. I wonder why? Looking out amongst the lonely barren playing field as he talks about being lonely or looking out amongst the hills in the distance just wanting to fly there and be himself and relax. (That's what I could see from my Soccer field in High School and what I thought about sometimes. Hehe.) Scott can't turn away from such a cute deer as Matthew. Can he?
