After dispatching a few of the town guards, Calibus spotted a lone mercenary seemingly minding his own business. Calibus warned him to escape while he still could, but Gazander refused and accepted his challenge. Calibus charged with a new sword in hand, hoping to make it a quick victory, only it met with a sword of equal enchantment. The resulting shockwave violently blew both combatants off their feet.

This is a more memorable scene from a story I had been playing out for a few years. I knew right after it occured that I had to draw it. I wasn't sure whether to put this in my scraps or in my submissions gallery, because I know it's finished as it stands, but I also know what other work I'd like to add to it. It's rather clean looking, so I'll decided to put it here. Hopefully you will agree. :3
