Indeed This is a MUCH smaller version of the original file she sent me, so there are quite a few details in there that don't quite show up as well on a resized image. Oniontrain doesn't bite, so drop her a note or something and sound her out on commissions. Depending on what you want she is probably within your price range also.

Hell, she can only say no and you're no worse off. I try and find other good artists to commission all the time, so if I find one that you may like that is open for commissions, I'll drop you a note if you like? The only problem with advertising on the forums is there are a lot of artists out there who are desperate and will hit you up mercilessly... and whose style or abilities may not be quite to your tastes*

Yeah, I've been having problems asking friends and such and just roaming through FA, It is sometimes easier to ask the general public their opinions and see what they think.

I think that Oniontrain is a rather good artist (though has a lot of boobs ;p ), I'm surprised they have as little attention as they currently do, they are definitely on my list of people to think about though, I appreciate the suggestion.

Heh, she normally does female characters, but didn't seem to have an issue doing a male Vanguard. If you hunt around carefully sometimes you can find some very good, overlooked artists. I think Oniontrain is one of these. No problem, and will let you know if I come across (*ahem*) anyone else that might fit your bill, so to speak

I like what they did with the rifle. I had a similar idea for that, how it's held in the more powerful back arm but operated with the more dexterous front arm.

hehehe... Yeah, with you on that one, the assault rifle is one of the best things about the picture, fucking awesome bit of kit! The thinking I always had was them usually being carried around by a rear hand, but to fire they would use a front hand to stabilize it like a human would with a semi/fully automatic rifle.

Love the textures, too... almost has an elephant-y feel to it. I might not have assumed this was meant to be arousing, but the way you described it... *looks down* ... well, shit.

There is something out there for everyone, you know? What you or I might find a bit... well, disturbing, you just know there is someone out there fapping away to it And in its own way, that's a pretty cool thing too. Every artist brings something different to the art that they produce, a little detail or style here and there... The full-size version of this brings out much more detail in the skin, and as you say it does actually almsot have an 'elephantine' feel to it.

Nothing like stroking the long, hard barrel of a weapon, just knowing all that power that is buried not so far beneath the otherwise innocuous exterior....

I gotta say, I looked through your gallery at all the other ones, and while a bit of the other artists are more skilled than me, mine's the ugliest. I may be biased though.

Well, there may not be hordes of furry types whacking off furiously to it, but if a Vanguard actually existed in this strange universe of ours, yours would probably be the closest real version to it. Let's face it, aliens would be alien - the chance of people wanting to sex one up would be fairly slim.

Sweet. And that is the reason I don't really like providing 'ref' pics of them to the artists that are willing to be commissioned. I want to see what the artist will do, based on a description alone. What's the point in getting cookie-cutter commissions - screw that shit.
