True, but you can still collect sap in the fall. It just won't do you much good since you'll get less in the spring if you do.

Watching out for the trees however is a full-time job!

That is why all the back trees don't have leaves. Which is to say, the brown leaves just stay there all winter anyway if there is not a ton of snow. THAT SAID, yes, there is the yellow tree up front because I wanted more colour so it doesn't make much sense. Lets just go with fucked up seasons due to weather being constantly messed with by pegasi and unicorns and draconequus and whatnot. ;]
