SOLD! Are you still around Turin?

I'm in a city called Ivrea, 60 kilometres from there, still visiting my friends in Turin quite regularly. Do you think to come around for real someday? I'd be glad to spend some time with you :)

It's on our list of places to visit and hell yes I wanna spend time with you! If you ever want to come to the states as well, we have a guest room on our farm...and maybe soon you will be staying in a real hobbit hole...we're going to start looking for land here in the next few months to build one. :)

Chemtrails are little more than the rapidly condensing water vapor left behind a jet as it's exhaust cools. Couldn't be over much better scenery, though!

If you forget it's pollution, it's quite suggestive to see :D

The pollution itself is invisible CO2 gasses, though.

I've lived in the Schwartzwald and this reminds me of the area along the Rhine there. Are there many old castles to explore?

Lots of them are private, some are open to paid visits or host museums, I can't find a precise number on the web right now, but there are more than 100 castles in the region. Southern Germany is one of the places I'd like to visit someday, I only have been in Munchen like fifteen years ago for a couple of days. I like the landscape and yes, looks similar, though Germany's more open with a lesser density of people and buildings.

They used to do a castle cruise on the Rhine where the owners would set off fireworks as the tour boats passed. I don't know if they still do that though.

My sister studied art in Florence and I've always wanted to visit that region. The closest I got was a week in Venice.

Oh god, for a ghastly moment I thought you might be serious about the chemtrails. They're my favourite conspiracy theory — I can't think of anything else that's quite such a rabid mixture of paranoia, scientific illiteracy, and sheer agonising stupidity. You're right: it never gets old. :)

Actually, those are called contrails.

A natural phenomenon created by aircraft flying at high altitude when atmospheric conditions are right.

Its not a "chemical trail", and is not pollution.

Just condensed water vapor.
