umm both if i heard right the purple was spring trap from the beginning or he stole the suit to kill good reply. Let's see in the next game theory

Another way to look at it is Purple Guy USED Spring Trap (or Spring Bonnie as he was known at the time), and it's actually more speculated that Purple Man used the Golden Freddy suit. Springtrap doesn't appear till the third game while Golden Freddy (aka Fred Bear) has been there the whole time.

have you watch game theory's timeline about these games 1 to 3 yes it was speculated the he uses the golden freddy suit but if you play the 2nd game in a mini game you will see golden freddy face but you will also see a kid

no not rly... purple guy used the suit because he got haunted by the ghosts of the little kids he killes... he actually only wanted to hide in the springlock suit earlier called "Spring Bonnie" now its called Springtrap... maies sense right?
