That night should have been one Tiru would enjoy, however she found herself scared. It was a dangerous world out there and that Lucario could easily get to her. She didn't like this one bit, but she wanted Anna to be happy. The aura her parents were giving off didn't help ether. They were worried, but they did a decent job hiding it. The only person happy was Anna.
"Its great that she passed. But you should work on the things Whitney mentioned in the review. That way Tiru is better prepared." Anna's father said as they had dinner.
"I'll be fine dad. I can take care of myself. Tiru is with me. Everything will be fine!" Anna said hugging Tiru.
"He's just worried about your safety. Someone tried to take her from you once. What happens when you're alone and they are better prepared? She may not get away again. We are only telling you this for your own good." Anna's mother said.
"Mom I-... I guess a little training can't hurt before I go." Anna accepted. Tiru was a rare Pokemon. One she didn't want to lose. "But I'm still going this summer. Even if it is a little later than intended." She said much to Tiru's relief.
Tiru was glad she would get a little time to get used to her body a little more. She had to admit this life was a little fun, and battling for the first time made her feel good. But the fact remained that no amount of training they could do this year would help her against that Lucario. She couldn't get him off her mind. It made her so paranoid. She didn't want to die again, not after only just getting a second chance.
After a decent dinner Anna took Tiru to bed. "You wanna go on a journey this summer right?" She asked her Riolu. Tiru was a little hesitant. But she nodded knowing it would make Anna happy. "Great! We are gonna beat all the gyms and the elite four! I just know it!" She said confidently.
That night Tiru could barely sleep. What little sleep she did manage only brought nightmares of the Lucario doing nasty things to her; it bothered her that much. The next morning she would try to find help. Perhaps someone who could go with them on their journey.
That morning Anna let Tiru sleep in, seeing she was tired. She ran off to school; it was her last week. Tiru eventually woke up. After a short breakfast she noticed Yuki outside.
"Hey Yuki!" Tiru called over the fence.
The Braixen jumped over the fence. "Hey hun. How you been." She asked smiling at Tiru.
"I'm okay. But I wanted to ask. I'm about to go on my journey. Do you think you can get your trainer to travel with us?" Tiru asked twiddling her paws. She didn't like asking for help like this but she knew she needed it.
"Well. I doubt I could help. I'm not actually a battler. I do competitions. And those aren't for another 3 months." Yuki told Tiru petting her head. "But if you need a little know-how, I can help with that." She suggested.
"Oh that's okay. I gotta try to find someone. Thanks anyway!" Tiru said running off. She knew Elim couldn't do it. He was taking care of her human mother. And she wasn't sure she could trust anyone else. She gave a frustrated sigh as she entered the house again. Perhaps a bit of TV would calm her down. She hopped on the couch and turned the TV on.
After a few hours of mindless crap Anna got home. It was a short day, and Tiru was glad to see Anna was back.
"Hey Tiru! Ready for a little training?" Anna asked going into the kitchen.
"Lu Riolu!" Tiru replied. She followed Anna.
"Good glad to hear it. First we are gonna work on your jumping." Anna commented as she set up a few chairs ad various distances. "All you have to do is jump from chair to chair. Sound simple enough?" Anna asked.
Tiru nodded. She climbed on the first chair and started practicing. She fell a few times, but doing this did help. She was surprised Anna was able to help her like this.
"Your doing great Tiru! Keep it up!" Anna praised as she watched Tiru jump from chair to chair. She moved the chairs to change it up a little as Tiru jumped around.
During their little training mission the doorbell rang. Tiru looked toward it. She could sense the aura of the person as the door. It wasn't the Lucario. Anna went to get the door. "Hello?" She asked looking at their visitor.
"Hello there. I'm with the RPPA. I'm here to offer you a little help." The man said.
"RPPA?" Anna asked looking at the man suspiciously.
"Rare Pokemon Protection Agency. I'm here to give this to you." The man said handing her a pokeball. "You have a Female Riolu. Recently someone has been murdering Riolu and Lucario. This cannot continue. Especially a female. In that ball is a very powerful Pokemon. He will only protect you. He will not battle for you unless you can beat him in a battle. Please keep him out with you when ever your in public with her." He explained giving her a card. "Call me if you have any further questions." With that he took off.
"Hey wait!" Anna called but the man ignored her. She looked at the pokeball he had given her. "A very powerful Pokemon huh?" She said to herself closing the door.
Tiru had been listening. 'The RPPA. Interesting.' She thought walking up to Anna. "Rio Lu lu!" She said pointing at the ball wanting to see what pokemon it held.
"Hmmmm... Okay Tiru." Anna said releasing the pokemon inside. A Dragonite, of all Pokemon, materialized! "Woah! That's so cool! Hi there!" She exclaimed excitedly.
The Dragonite looked around. Seeing Tiru he smiled. "So your the one I'm to protect?" He said looking at her.
"Protect?... Wait you mean your gonna protect me?" Tiru asked just now realizing what this meant.
"Of course little one. Your a rare Pokemon and you future of your species. Your cute to boot. I think I'm gonna like this job." He said smiling.
Anna examined the Pokemon. "Perhaps with you I can go on my journey right after the last day of school!" She said starting to get excited. This was a Dragonite. Only the strongest of trainers had one. And that man just gave her one. Even if he wouldn't battle willingly for her he was still very intimidating.
The Dragonite sat on the couch. He just looked around taking in his surroundings. Looking for anything that might be dangerous. Once he knew everything was safe he relaxed. "Cozy place." He commented.
Tiru hopped on the couch next to him. This Dragonites aura was pretty strong. It made her feel a little more secure around him. "So.. You protect other Pokemon?" She asked.
"I do. But your the first I've had to actually live with." He said.
Anna looked at the Dragonite. "Hmmmm. Seems a little weird they'd just up and give me a Pokemon. To stay safe your staying in the ball till I can trust you." She said returning the Dragonite. "Okay Tiru back to training!" She said.
Tiru sighed. The next few hours would be long and hard. That much she could already tell, but her worries about the Lucario died down a bit. That was good at the very least.
Its been so long since I made another chapter. Thanks for waiting yall! I'm gonna try to make these longer.
