Yup, it takes a busy regimen of breeding to keep it properly stocked!
The good news about the game is, they revamped it a bit ago and now the energy system's a lot less of a pain :) No more needing to pay to take elevators and no more daily energy allotment. It's just for stuff like revives and crafting, and you can just buy it with the in-game money.

I was about to say that maybe this should've been done on some Wolvers as well, but I didn't want to say it. :P
Glad to see it's a thing though! And the silliness of it belly being too big to allow movement is very silly. Kinda like how I imagine a non-bipedal Furret to be like.
