Other than that, as for just a random thing, if it were merely a character.. You could have them wear made-up assets from the game, like a Rivet City pin-on button, or "I survived Fallout 3 and all I got was this stupid Ending" T-Shirt

A Vault jumpsuit as the clothing would be highly distinctive. The Vault doors themselves are iconic (so that could be a setting/BG)
