So here's my new character, a living marionette puppet named Mourning. He's named Mourning for two reasons. One is because he mourns over him becoming so unwanted, and two is because he's made outta wood (Haha! Innuendo!).
Anyway, he started out as a clown/jester puppet back when puppets, especially marionettes, were popular amongst children. His creator made him one day when he was snowed in and unable to go out anywhere. He used the wood of spare fire wood and old furniture to make his little puppet, so he's essentially been garbage since his beginning. XD
Anyway, as years went by, marionettes went from entertaining to creepy, and poor Mourning became packed away. More years went by, making Morning worn and torn, and very much more unappealing as he ever was. He eventually found himself in the trash heap.
That's where a magic fairy (I'm keeping the Pinocchio theme here...) found him. Pitying him, she used her fairy magic to bring him back to life, and he's been wandering the world secretly ever since.
Since he no longer needs his strings to move, he has since hacked the majority of them from his hands and feet, but has kept quite a bit of the string to never forget his past of being controlled, vowing to never go back to it...
Even though he technically has no gender, he was carved to represent a male, so I call him as such.
Also, since he has no real need for clothes, he rarely wears them. Sometimes he will, just because he feels like it, but really sees no use for them.
I wanna give him a hat though...XD
I guess we'll see how it all turns out. :D
