lengthened the muzzle, finished the shaping with foam, attached horns, mounted to helmet, added straps that will buckle to body under the neck ruff to help pull the weight back and keep the head from slipping forward.
While progress the last 2 days has been amazing this is when things slow down, the actual patterning and sewing of the head, tail, stilts and body take foooooreeeeevvvvvverrrrr 8C

So here's my question. It looks like there's a strap going from the helmet to the middle of the back. Is this the strap to help the wearer hold their head up (as we discussed at BLFC)? I've discovered that I have a weak neck, and is a concern of mine with the project we discussed.
Ugh I think taping/patterning is my least favorite part of making suits. Like, your foaming and sculpting and it's coming to life, and then icky taping and taping and taping and then you just cut it off and it looks like no progress has been made at all. x(
This is looking so awesome though!! Thank you for all the WIP photos, they are very helpful!!

I think it's the no progress thing that stings most, like when making the frame at the end of the day you feel like "oh wow yay a head!' but when patterning and sewing at the end of the day you are like "oh look a strange looking rug..."
even worse for bodies, cause aggg I have to wrestle this stiff human being in an awkward pose and fffffffff
tomorrow I pattern the body *cries a little
PS I don't use tape though, I either use a draping method where I pin the fur around the body/cut and pin fur to the head, or I use some fleece to make a pattern since I went waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overboard on a sale once and I still have a huge pile of it (it was $3 a yaaaaaaard)
